Falkirk Food Train Open Days

Food Train is an award-winning charity which operates throughout Scotland, supporting older people in local communities to remain living in their own home, as independently as possible. The Falkirk team is currently looking to recruit new volunteers for various roles, including:

• Shoppers
• Van Driver/Helpers
• Telephone Shopping List Collectors

They will be holding various in person drop-in sessions in February and welcome anyone interested to go along and find out more about what they do, the volunteer roles available and how you could make a difference to older people in your community. Sessions will take place at the Falkirk Food Train office, Room 10, Ironworks Business Centre, Bankside, Falkirk, FK2 7XE, on the following dates:

• Wednesday 4 February 2026: 10am – 12pm
• Monday 9 February 2026: 1pm – 3pm
• Thursday 19 February 2026: 10am – 12pm
• Tuesday 24 February 2026: 1pm – 3pm
