Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices Awareness Session

FreeThe next Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices awareness session will be held from 2:30pm – 4:30pm on Tuesday 5th September in Room 1 of the Mayfield Centre, Sunnybank Road, Stirling, FK7 0BD, with registration beginning at 2:15pm.
The session will be delivered by Fiona Panetta from the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), and will cover the following topics:
- what GLAA does
- what are the signs of trafficking to be aware of
- if you suspect trafficking or poor employment practices experienced by service users, what is the procedure for reporting
- what can be reported
- who and how to report
- dos and don’ts in reporting and working with victims
There will then be a session on how to report hate crime, delivered by the Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC).
GLAA and CSREC are working in partnership with Stirling Council’s Gender Based Violence (GBV) Partnership to deliver this session. Places are limited, so booking is essential.
