SUMMARY:Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices Awareness Session
DESCRIPTION:The next Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices awareness session will be held from 2:30pm – 4:30pm on Tuesday 5th September in Room 1 of the Mayfield Centre\, Sunnybank Road\, Stirling\, FK7 0BD\, with registration beginning at 2:15pm. \nThe session will be delivered by Fiona Panetta from the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA)\, and will cover the following topics: \n\nwhat GLAA does\nwhat are the signs of trafficking to be aware of\nif you suspect trafficking or poor employment practices experienced by service users\, what is the procedure for reporting\nwhat can be reported\nwho and how to report\ndos and don’ts in reporting and working with victims\n\nThere will then be a session on how to report hate crime\, delivered by the Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC). \nGLAA and CSREC are working in partnership with Stirling Council’s Gender Based Violence (GBV) Partnership to deliver this session.  Places are limited\, so booking is essential. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the Eventbrite page.  Alternatively\, contact CSREC by phone: 01324 610950\, or email: info@csrec.org.uk
