“Ask the Expert” Resources

These FAQs cover questions regarding deposit amounts, the difference between mortgage in principal and mortgage promise, ISAs and tax.

The information for this resource was provided by Ian McKinnon, an independent Financial Adviser authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for mortgage advice.

  • Recorded Webinar: “An Introduction to Wills”

A pre-recorded webinar looking at the sensitive subject of wills. Leading the session is Jenny, Money Advice Scotland’s Financial Wellbeing Manager, and Hope, a private client solicitor who helps families deal with wills, Powers of Attorney, and estate administrations when someone has passed away. The webinar is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about arranging a will, who can assist with this, what should be included in your will, and much more.
