Modern Slavery, Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices

Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) are holding a Modern Slavery, Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices session on Wednesday 29th August, 10am –  12pm at the Falkirk Fire Station, Westfield, Falkirk FK2 9AH, in partnership with Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA).

There will be a variety of topics covered:

  • what the signs of trafficking are
  • what can be reported
  • who to report to and how
  • the procedure for reporting suspected trafficking or poor employment practices experienced by service users
  • dos and don’ts in reporting and working with victims
  • what the GLAA does
  • a session on Hate Crime Reporting delivered by CSREC
