Heritage Funding Workshop
October 8, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pmFree
The Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) and the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) are delivering a workshop aiming to help community groups apply for funding.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 8th October, 6pm – 8pm at the Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Redbrae Road, Camelon, FK1 4DD. Registration is from 5:30pm.
Groups do not have to be a heritage group, or focused on heritage, in order to apply for to the NLHF. The workshop aims to discuss the types of projects the NLHF can support, their application process, and how to develop a heritage project.
The NLHF supports different kinds of projects connecting people and communities to heritage. Funded projects can include:
- capturing people’s memories of a particular event or daily life
- researching people and place
- looking after natural habitats and wildlife
- celebrating sporting traditions
- helping people to learn traditional skills
- delving into diverse cultures
- exploring a local museum collection
NLHF can also provide additional support and guidance to applicants who are new to heritage and have not applied to them before.
The workshop is free, but booking is essential.
