SUMMARY:Heritage Funding Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) and the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) are delivering a workshop aiming to help community groups apply for funding. \nThe workshop takes place on Tuesday 8th October\, 6pm – 8pm at the Forth Valley Sensory Centre\, Redbrae Road\, Camelon\, FK1 4DD. Registration is from 5:30pm. \nGroups do not have to be a heritage group\, or focused on heritage\, in order to apply for to the NLHF. The workshop aims to discuss the types of projects the NLHF can support\, their application process\, and how to develop a heritage project. \nThe NLHF supports different kinds of projects connecting people and communities to heritage. Funded projects can include: \n\ncapturing people’s memories of a particular event or daily life\nresearching people and place\nlooking after natural habitats and wildlife\ncelebrating sporting traditions\nhelping people to learn traditional skills\ndelving into diverse cultures\nexploring a local museum collection\n\nNLHF can also provide additional support and guidance to applicants who are new to heritage and have not applied to them before. \nThe workshop is free\, but booking is essential. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the Eventbrite page. \nAlternatively\, contact CSREC by phone: 01324 610950\, or email: admin@csrec.org.uk
