Grangemouth Workshop on Industrial Decarbonisation

November 2, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Researchers from the University of Exeter are continuing their work in Grangemouth on the UKRI-funded research project, “Net Zero Sense of Place”.

They will be holding an in-person workshop on industrial decarbonisation, for residents and other interested parties, on Thursday 2nd November, 4pm – 7pm at Grangemouth Town Hall, 27 Bo’ness Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8AN.

The workshop will introduce and explore an actionable framework for a place-sensitive, socially acceptable decarbonisation process, with action plan recommendations for Grangemouth created afterwards to help developers and organisations create constructive community-industry communication and relations in the process of low-carbon industrial transitions.

Places are limited, and booking is essential. Refreshments will be provided.

To book your place, or for further information, please visit the Eventbrite page.

Alternatively, for further information, visit a blog by one of the researchers, Dr. Huei-Ling Lai (Lynn), Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, or contact her by phone: 07956 105 827, or email: H.L.Lai@exeter.ac.uk
