Gathering Hope 2026 Annual Conference
January 29 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeThe third annual Gathering Hope conference, organised by Suicide Prevention Scotland, will take place on Thursday 29 January 2026, 10am – 4pm, at the Barracks Conference Centre, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ.
Gathering Hope is a national event bringing together third sector and grassroots organisations working in suicide prevention, mental health and community wellbeing. It is designed for peer-support groups, community-led projects and charities working to support people at greater risk of suicide, and aims to bring them together to share learning, build connections and strengthen suicide prevention across Scotland.
The programme will include presentations, conversation cafés and networking opportunities. The venue is fully accessible, with additional support available on request.
Last year’s event in Clydebank brought together charities from across Scotland and showcased the impact of collaboration, lived-experience-led approaches, and community-based action. This year, Gathering Hope 2026 aims to build on that momentum with an enhanced focus on amplifying lived experience and shaping future national suicide prevention efforts.
The organisers are committed to making the event accessible to all. The venue offers step-free access, accessible toilets, hearing loops, quiet-spaces, and flexibility for attendees with different access needs. Participants can request additional support such as British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation, large-print materials or other reasonable accommodations.
