Falkirk Race for Life

June 26, 2022

£10 – £14.99

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life takes place in Falkirk on Sunday 26th June, from 11am for around 6 hours.

Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s (CRUK) biggest series of fundraising events. Taking place across the UK, the events include 3k, 5k and 10k routes for participants to walk, jog or run, as well as CRUK’s Pretty Muddy obstacle events.

Started more than 25 years ago as a women-only event, Race for Life has grown into a series of hundreds of events across the country, raising nearly £500 million towards beating cancer over the last quarter of a century. In 2019, for the first time, the Race for Life opened its doors to men to participate too, increasing the event’s inclusivity, and aiming to give people the chance to come together with their family and friends, and join the movement to beat cancer.

There is a 5k and 10k Falkirk Race for Life, both taking place Sunday 26th June for around 6 hours, with start and finish lines at Callendar House, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1YR. Participants should arrive 15 – 20minis before their start time so they are prepared and ready to go on time. As there will only be water available at the finish, participants should bring a reusable water bottle  if they require water during the event.

Registration costs are:

  • Adults: £14.99
  • Young Adults: £14.99
  • Children: £10.00
  • Under 6 entry: free and no registration needed

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CRUK is unable to:

  • allow spectators attend the event with participants
  • offer catering facilities onsite
  • offer on the day entries

To register, or for further information, please visit the Falkirk Race for Life pages: 5k or 10k.

CRUK is also looking for Event Marshal Volunteers to support the event; for further information, including how to get involved, please view the full web article.
