Eden Project Communities is taking their annual Community Camp online this year. The Community Camp is aimed at anyone wanting to make a difference in their community, and offers practical support to help people get started.
This year’s camp will run from Monday 1st March – Monday 29th March. Each week, attendees will attend a “Welcome to the Week” plenary and take part in other sessions involving a workshop, practical activity, and a chance to apply learning to their project or idea.
Community Camp is open to lots of different types of people, including those who:
- want to start a community project or are already doing something and want to take the next step
- are just starting out on their journey, or those who are more experienced but keen to learn from and share with others
- were involved with mutual aid groups or helping neighbours and those in their community during COVID-19 and are interested in staying active in these areas
- who find that they have a little more time to get involved in their community now due to a change with their education or employment, and others who dipped their toe into the community space during COVID-19, and are keen to do more
Places on the Camp are fully funded; however, they are specifically for the benefit of community members, and Eden Project Communities is unfortunately unable to allocate funded places to paid professionals, people who are paid for a community post or those who have attended a Virtual or Community Camp before.
