Eat Well Age Well (EWAW) is looking to engage and link in with groups and forums across the Falkirk area.
Funded by Scottish Government, Eat Well Age Well is a national project (part of the Food Train, which provides shopping and befriending for older people), looking at prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition of older adults living at home.
They are also looking to increase awareness and use of the Patients Association Nutrition Checklist, a paper-based questionnaire tool designed to identify potential risk of malnutrition and offer guidance on next steps (including advice and signposting).
For further information on their offer to Falkirk groups, please view or download the presentation, “A Local Approach to Prevention of Malnutrition in Falkirk”, as a pdf.
