Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Planning Partnership (CPP) have organised a 2 day Child Protection Risk Assessment training course, taking place on Monday 16th October and Monday 23rd October, 9:15am – 4:30pm, in-person at the Falkirk Council offices, The Foundry, Central Boulevard, Larbert, FK5 4RU.
“Creating the Conditions for Getting Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Right” will be led by Bridget Rothwell Consultancy, and aims to:
- provide enhanced practice training for staff from Education, Health, Police, Social Work, Fire Service, Children’s Reporter, Children’s Panel members, Housing Managers, and third sector family support services
- increase skills, understanding and confidence in:
- relation to assessment of risk and need within the context of Child Protection and multiagency working
- understanding of each other’s roles, services and systems
- building and developing good working relationships with colleagues across different services to enhance multiagency work
The deadline for registrations is Monday 10th October.
