As part of their roadshows, Bowel Cancer UK is travelling around the country to talk to as many people as possible about bowel cancer. They are on a mission to increase public awareness of the disease and its symptoms.
From Tuesday 20 May – Thursday 22 May 2025, their Roadshow team is visiting 3 areas across Falkirk & District to answer people’s questions or listen to any worries people may have about bowel cancer, whether that’s about themselves, a loved one or a friend.
The team will be present at the following locations:
- Tuesday 20 May, 10am – 4pm, Asda Grangemouth, Dock Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8TY
- Wednesday 21 May, 10am – 4pm, Tesco Superstore, Falkirk Central Retail Park, Grahams Road, Falkirk, FK1 1LW
- Thursday 22 May, 10am – 4pm, Tesco Superstore Camelon, Glasgow Road, Camelon, FK1 4JB
People can also take a walk through the giant inflatable bowel, which shows the various stages of bowel cancer. This interactive experience aims to help Bowel Cancer UK raise awareness of symptoms and the importance of taking part in bowel screening, as well as good bowel health.
There is no need to book, as people are welcome to drop in at the location of their choice to find out more about bowel cancer awareness.
