The Bo’ness Networking Group (Bo’net) is looking for volunteers to help their planned transformation of the Bo’ness Community Hospital garden with Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC.
Funding has been received for plants and materials, but both groups are keen to involve local people in the project. Final plans will be created with input from volunteers, staff and patients.
No gardening or volunteering experience is needed, people should just be eager to get involved and learn.
While a hospital has been at Dean Road in Bo’ness since the early 1900s, the current building was opened in 2004 to provide inpatient facilities for 40 people, as well as outpatient facilities. Bo’net’s project will focus on the garden area at ward one, which acts as an outdoor area for those receiving inpatient services.
Any local businesses or groups who would also like to get involved are welcome to get in touch.
To get involved, or for further information on this opportunity, please contact Maria Ford by phone: 01506 510629, or complete the online registration form.
Alternatively, for further information, visit the Bo’net website, or view the official press release from The PR Store.
