Applications are now open for the free Ambitions 2026 Programme from Social Investment Scotland (SIS).
Delivered in partnership with the Postcode Innovation Trust, the Ambitions programme is designed to support leaders of impact-led organisations across Scotland to strengthen their leadership, sharpen their strategy and grow their social impact.
The programme is open to social enterprises, charities, and impact-driven businesses, and involves weekly 90 minute sessions from Thursday 28 May 2026 (Scale Up) and Friday 29 May 2026 (Step Up). Ambitions 2026 will run for 16 weeks (with breaks for some key holidays).
Ambitions brings together founders, CEOs and senior leaders for a structured programme of expert-led sessions, peer learning and practical support. Through the programme, participants should have the opportunity to gain time and space to step back from day-to-day operations, reflect on their organisation’s direction, and develop the skills and confidence needed to lead sustainable growth.
The programme includes in-person and online workshops, tailored one to one support, specialist trustee sessions, wellbeing delivery, and access to associate business support (by selection). Through facilitated discussions, shared challenges and insights from experienced practitioners, the programme aims to helps leaders explore topics such as commercial growth, storytelling, customer insight and building the right team around them.
While the 16 week Ambitions programme is free, participants should be aware that they are responsible for any personal or travel expenses incurred for in‑person meetings.
The deadline for applications is 11:59am on Thursday 7 May 2026.
