Once again, our festive Falkirk residents have come together to fill their local communities with Christmas cheer!
The people and third sector of Forth Valley have truly gone above and beyond to ensure those who are struggling still have something special to look forward to during the pressure of the season and the cost of living crisis.
Below is a range of ways you can give and support their efforts.
- Those mentioned in our Hampers and Appeals list are looking for donations (including food, gifts and monetary donations); visit the dedicated page (linked for your convenience) for further information.
- Christmas Jumper Day 2022: taking place on Thursday 8th December, Christmas Jumper Day 2022 is Save the Children’s annual fundraising event to raise money for children in the UK and across the world.
- Santa’s Grotto at Thistles Centre, Stirling, supporting Strathcarron Hospice; open every weekend until Sunday 18th December (and daily Monday 19th – Saturday 24th December), children can write a letter to Santa, sit in the magical sleigh, and receive a gift, with all proceeds going to Strathcarron Hospice.
- The Linden Inn in Stirling is collecting donations of new, unopened toys for the children’s ward at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. They are looking for donations for babies, children and young people, which can be dropped off at the Linden Inn before Christmas.
