Volunteer Scotland is holding several online webinars in the coming months, covering topics usually included in their face to face training courses, including:
- Developing Volunteer Strategy: this session will explain the purpose and benefits of a volunteering strategy, taking place:

- Volunteers Mental Wellbeing: the aim of this session is to raise the awareness of mental health and wellbeing within volunteer programmes, with session taking place:

- Volunteer Induction: these sessions will focus on how to develop a positive volunteer induction, taking place on:

- Managing Difficult Situations: this session is for practitioners to look at good practice, focusing on how to managing volunteer difficult situations, taking place:

- Involving and matching volunteers to roles/tasks: on Thursday 28th January 2021, 2pm – 4pm, this session will focus on how to involve volunteers, and match them to appropriate roles and tasks.

- Developing Volunteer Roles: on Wednesday 17th February 2021, 10am – 12pm, this session will focus on how to develop volunteer roles and create effective role descriptions.

- Developing a Volunteer Culture: taking place on Thursday 25th February 2021, 2pm – 4pm, focusing on your organisation’s volunteer culture, and how aspects of this might impact on someone’s experience of volunteering.

- Action and Learning Group: across various dates, a group of volunteer practitioners from a wide range of organisations share experience and best practice. Each session will feature a different topic, and attendees can book a place at as many as they wish.

The webinars are free to attend, and aim to provide a space for volunteering practitioners to come together, share ideas and learn more about good practice.
The webinars will each last 2 hours and will be delivered online through Zoom.
