The Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) encourages and supports people aged 50+ to volunteer in their local communities. If you are over the age of 50 and would like to volunteer within a hospital or school setting, please look at their new opportunities below for more information:
Hospital Volunteer (FVRH Falkirk): There are several volunteering roles available in different NHS departments including meet and greet, in the discharge lounge, and in oncology.
Schools Volunteer: Supporting pupils with reading, writing, or numbers in small groups. Alternatively there are opportunities to support the teacher in the classroom environment or support the school with playground monitoring.
Schools Project Organiser: Helping ensure that RSVP’s Primary School Volunteering programme, groups and activities across Falkirk runs smoothly, and assisting to recruit/support new volunteers.
