Victim Support Scotland are a voluntary organisation in Scotland helping people affected by crime. They provide emotional support, practical help and essential information to victims, witnesses and others affected by crime. The service is free, confidential and is provided by volunteers through a network of community-based victim services and court-based witness services.
They are recruiting volunteers to support witnesses and victims of crime attending court throughout the Central Region.
Volunteers may be involved in a range of activities, including making contact with witnesses and victims by phone, supporting witnesses attending court, and visiting victims in their own homes to offer practical and emotional support in the aftermath of crime.
