UnLtd provides funding and tailored support to social entrepreneurs developing ventures which create positive social impact in communities across the UK. Through its Awards programme, UnLtd combines funding with tailored support to help individuals start, develop and grow social ventures.

The programme includes opportunities for people with early-stage or new ideas, as well as those already delivering social impact and looking to expand their reach. Depending on the award, funding can support social venture costs, development activities and, in some cases, living costs for the social entrepreneur. In addition to financial support, successful applicants can access practical support, including one-to-one guidance from a support manager, mentoring, workshops, expert advice and opportunities to connect with peers and specialist networks.

Applications are assessed on multiple factors such as social impact, inclusion and the sustainability of the proposed venture. UnLtd is also committed to increasing opportunities for underrepresented social entrepreneurs through its funding and support programmes.

The first step in the application process is to complete UnLtd’s online eligibility checker (available on the main Awards programme page), which helps identify the most suitable award programme. Applications are open to social entrepreneurs aged 16 years old and over who are addressing social or environmental challenges through innovative approaches.
