You are invited to come along to an online session about the The Grandschools Project: An Inter-generational Learning and Living Campus on Monday 23 September 2024, online from 9:30am – 11:00am. To attend, please BOOK YOUR SPACE HERE
Generations Working Together are delighted to announce this workshop which will offer insights into the Grandschools Project from Australia. The Grandschools project aims to address this intergenerational divide by developing an innovative model for collocating senior living with high school campuses in consultation with key industry partners. The project differs from existing programs by establishing an economic, policy driven ‘shared campus facilities and services’ approach which is person-centered, health focused and socially inclusive.
The presentation will outline their progress developing the Grandschools model, including different typologies of intergenerational living and learning environments, and key considerations guiding their design. There will be five Grandschools team members attending the presentation – including:
- Professor Robin Drogemulller
- Professor Suzanne Kuys
- Adjunct Associate Professor Mark Trotter
- Dr Marissa Lindquist
- Dr Rosamund Harrington
