Suicide Prevention Scotland have launched their new ‘Sharing Practice: Suicide Prevention Approaches Taken in Schools‘ guide capturing suicide prevention practices being used in schools across Scotland.
The guide features insights from local leaders who explain why they began working in suicide prevention, what actions they have taken, and the impact that has been achieved. Accompanying and complementing the guide is a new ‘Creating Hope‘ podcast, with the initial two episodes highlighting efforts in three local authorities, sharing key lessons and practical advice. The podcast can be accessed through the Suicide Prevention Scotland website or wherever you get your podcasts.
Aiming to inspire and inform future practices, these resources (alongside any views or statements shared within) do not imply formal endorsement or promotion of any specific approach, service, or model. The guide does not promote any specific approach and is not intended as clinical or professional advice.
