Strathcarron Hospice’s Compassion Communities team has organised a free conference exploring the role hospices can play in community development.

Taking place on Tuesday 15 September 2026, 1pm – 5pm, at The Barracks Conference Centre, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ, the event will share learning from an external evaluation by Social Value Lab, along with interactive workshops with the Compassionate Communities team, and opportunities to hear from those working in community development, explore potential joint working with other organisations across Forth Valley, and examine what a hospice-led approach to community development can look like.

A light lunch, tea and coffee will be available from 1pm. The formal programme begins at 1:30pm, concluding around 4pm, followed by networking until 5pm.
