The Smarter Choices, Smarter Places Open Fund from Paths for All is open to expressions of interest from public, third and community sector groups and organisations.
The fund, which provides up to 50% project match-funding, aims to encourage people to change their behaviours to walk or cycle as part of their everyday short journeys, or to use public transport for longer journeys.
Grants of £5,000 – £10,000 are available for projects encouraging:
- people to walk, or cycle for short journeys
- people to use other sustainable travel choices for longer journeys, such as e-cycling and public or community transport (including community car clubs)
- organisations to adopt home-working practices to replace daily commutes
The Open Fund closes on Sunday 31st March 2024, or earlier if the investment is fully allocated.
