The deadline for public votes on the People’s Choice Award winner at this year’s Scottish Charity Awards is 5pm on Friday 27th August.
Run annually by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the Scottish Charity Awards celebrate the best of Scotland’s voluntary sector.
While the winners of the awards’ 9 categories are decided by a judging panel, the People’s Choice Award is decided by a public vote on all 47 finalists across all categories.
A number of finalists are based or operating locally in Falkirk and Forth Valley, and like all finalists and nominees, have done incredible things over the past year, not least in the face of a global pandemic!
Each member of the public can vote once online for their favourite overall finalist.
Winners will be announced at an online awards ceremony on Friday 1st October, with free tickets available to book via the SCVO website.
Additionally, this year SCVO is hosting free “Rise & Shine!” webinars with Awards finalists throughout September, where finalists will share their hints and tips on everything from successful campaigns to community projects.
For further information on the Awards, including how to submit your vote for the People’s Choice Award, please visit the SCVO website.
