The Scottish Ambulance Service’s National Vehicle Design and Equipment Group (NVDEG) is looking for patients, service users, carers and community representatives to take part in an upcoming Engagement Day on Tuesday 27 October 2026, from 10am – 4pm, at the SEC Glasgow (G3 8YW).

NVDEG supports the development and improvement of ambulance and patient transport vehicles, equipment and design standards. The day will give attendees the opportunity to view and discuss current and future vehicle designs and equipment, and share their experiences and ideas directly with Scottish Ambulance Service colleagues.

They are particularly keen to hear from disabled people, older people, people with long-term conditions, unpaid carers, people who use patient transport services, and others who can bring a lived-experience perspective.
