Cyrenians’ Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution’s (SCCR) “Mediator & Mediation Skills Training” is now available – an online, Scottish Mediation–accredited course offering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for third sector professionals and volunteers.
Accredited by Scottish Mediation, the course provides high‑quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for third sector staff, volunteers, managers and leaders who work with conflict in their day‑to‑day roles, whether within teams, governance, communities or service delivery. Participants will have the opportunity to develop practical, transferable skills in communication, negotiation, ethics and trauma‑informed mediation practice, with learning that can be immediately applied across the third sector.
Delivered online via Zoom (with joining details sent a few days prior to course start date), this course will take place over 4 days on:
- Monday 11 May 2026
- Tuesday 12 May 2026
- Tuesday 19 May 2026
- Tuesday 26 May 2026
- assessment meeting on Tuesday 2 June 2026
Participants must attend all dates. This is a paid course, at a cost of £680 (plus VAT) for businesses and professionals, £630 (plus VAT) for the third sector and students.
