Roots in Bonnybridge has launched their summer programme, and are looking for volunteers to help out.

Volunteers will help set up and clean up for each day, as well as monitoring the children during activities, which take place:

Duncan Stewart Park, Bonnybridge: Monday 5^th July, Wednesday 7^th July, Friday 9^th July, Monday 12^th July, Wednesday 14^th July, and Friday 16^th July
Hollandbush Park, Banknock: Monday 19^th July, Wednesday 21^st July, Friday 23^rd July, Monday 26^th July, Wednesday 28^th July, and Friday 30^th July
Herbertshire Castle Park, Denny: Monday 2^nd August, Wednesday 4^th August, Friday 6^th August, Monday 9^th August, Wednesday 11^th August, and Friday 13^th August

The summer programme will run 11am – 2pm each day, though volunteers will be needed outside those times. All children will receive free snacks and lunch, and activities will include mini-golf, swing ball, parachute play, sensory spaces, soft archery, and agility games.

Roots is also happy for any agencies who deal with wellness and mental health support to attend and share information about themselves for people who may not be familiar with them, or the services they offer. Any sports club who may want to offer free sessions are also welcome.
