RISE Forth Valley is celebrating the Phase 1 finale of its Ethnic Minority Women’s Environmental Leadership Programme with a free showcase event on Saturday 12 September 2026, 11am – 1pm, at Polmont Community Hub, Greenpark Drive, Polmont, FK2 0PZ.

The leadership programme featured 10 women from racialised communities, using their lived experience to come together and make meaningful change locally. The RACE (Racial Action for Climate Equity) Founding Pioneers Showcase invites attendees to learn about how climate action, leadership, and lived experience can bring about this change, aiming to shape more inclusive climate policy and practice.

The event is open to the third sector, community leaders, regional Climate Action Hubs, funders and strategic partners, who will have the opportunity to explore the Founding Gallery, and receive a copy of the RACE Community Action Plan.
