Volunteer Scotland has announced that in-person Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme and signatory training sessions have resumed at their office at Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ.

This course is for signatories enrolled with Disclosure Services, and will cover everything they will need to know, including an introduction to the PVG legislation.

To ensure the safety of all course members, the maximum capacity has been reduced to 10 people per course.

This course will include:

what it means to be a signatory
forms and certificates
the PVG scheme
regulated work
referrals – understanding legal obligations under the PVG legislation
PVG in context – good recruitment and management practice around the realise of diclosure information
