Gordon Moody is a UK charity specialising in residential treatment and support for people experiencing gambling harm. The organisation is currently delivering pilot residential rehabilitation and counselling programmes in Scotland, between February – April 2026, and is inviting organisations to make referrals.
The free treatment programme supports men and women affected by gambling harm, and is delivered in small groups of up to 12 participants. The programme includes 2 residential retreats at Netherurd House (located around 30 minutes south of Edinburgh, near Blyth Bridge). Between these retreats, participants receive 4 weeks of online support, alongside peer support groups and art therapy.
Organisations are invited to make referrals to the programme, which aims to demonstrate the need for residential gambling harm services in Scotland. Travel to retreats is the only cost for participants.
(In addition, Gordon Moody can also host free workshops delivered alongside the John Hartson Foundation; organisations can be request these via the contact details below.)
How to Make a Referral
Referrals can be made directly through the Gordon Moody website (linked for your convenience). Organisations can also make direct referrals, or request further information, by contacting Amy Lowe, by email: amy.lowe@gordonmoody.org.uk
