As the new town hall proposal is classed as a major development, Falkirk Council must carry out a Pre-Application Consultation. Feedback received during the consultation period will help inform the ongoing development of the proposal before any planning application is submitted.

An overview of the emerging designs is available on the Participate+ website along with a short consultation to gather views on the Town Hall and Civic Destination proposal with questions focused on location, local priorities and perceived impact. The deadline for this section of the Pre-Application Consultation is Tuesday 10 November 2026.

The Town Hall Project team will also hold a drop-in session on Tuesday 17 November 2026, 3pm – 8pm at Falkirk Library (on the second floor) for residents, businesses, community organisations and other interested parties to learn more about emerging proposals and provide feedback directly to the project team. During the session, they will also share what the consultation has highlighted so far and explain how this will inform the planning application.
