Canal College is a voluntary personal development programme hosted by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
They are seeking Forth Valley residents aged 16 years old and over, who are not currently in further education or employment, to take part in practical outdoor activities such as construction and conservation at local canals, woodlands, and heritage sites. These are designed to be fun opportunities to develop employability, with certificates including SQA Level 2 in Cultural Heritage and Climate Change, Heritage Hero Award, and Saltire Awards, amongst others.
The next course starts on Tuesday 15th February, for approximately 11 weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10am – 4pm. Additional days may be added.
