The Development Trust Association (DTAS) is running a practical 2-day training course anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of Facilities Management (FM). Taking place from 9:30am – 4:30pm on 26th April and 3rd May 2024, this workshop will focus on themes related to FM such as:
- Day 1: The role of FM, FM strategy, managing buildings, financial management, service improvement and service delivery.
- Day 2: Health and safety, contract management, managing projects and change, sustainability and customer service.
The workshop price is £50 for attendance for both days (you will receive an invoice for the cost).
This course has been written for DTAS to give a practical overview of Facilities Management and is being delivered by external consultant Beth Goodyear, who has over 24 years of experience managing buildings and teams. There will be group discussion, individual exercises, and group exercises and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. The workshop will run from 9:30-16:00 on Friday 26th April and Friday 3rd May 2024; with three scheduled breaks.
It is open for anyone working in an operational role with facilities management responsibilities.
