NHS Forth Valley (and their partners across the areas) is holding online “Managing and Preventing Harmful Sexual Behaviour in Young People” training for professionals working with and supporting school-aged young people (including those from third sector groups and organisations).
The training aims to provide a brief summary of the Managing and Preventing Harmful Sexual Behaviour Guidelines, and takes place via Teams on:
- Wednesday 19th April, 3:30pm – 5pm
- Wednesday 20th September, 3:30pm – 5pm
Participants only need to attend one date of the training, which is open to all professionals in Forth Valley working with and supporting school-aged young people regarding harmful sexual behaviour – this includes children from nursery to secondary schools, and additional support needs (ASN) provisions.
Those interested in attending from Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire should complete the booking form, indicating which training date they wish to attend. However, those based in Falkirk District with NHS Forth Valley, the emergency services, or any third sector group or organisation, should book their place by email: cptraining@falkirk.gov.uk
There are only 25 places per training date available for participants from Falkirk District; the course must be booked in advance, with confirmation being sent via email.
