The Investing in Communities (ICF) Fund Round 2 is now open to applications.
The programme is a 3 year fund, and groups are invited to submit applications for projects that can be delivered between Saturday 1st April 2023 – Tuesday 31st March 2026, providing grants totalling up to £350,000 over the funding period. It is mainly a revenue fund, with availability of a small amount of capital funding of up to £20,000 per application for small scale capital costs, where this is directly linked to the revenue project. The total value of the fund is expected to be approximately £10 million each year.
The ICF is a community-focused fund supporting organisations based in the places they serve, and delivering activity across all 4 of the following areas for action:
- tackling poverty and inequality, including child poverty
- developing and sustaining place-based approaches
- community-led regeneration
- ensuring a just transition to net zero
The funding prioritises those places where support is needed most, in disadvantaged, rural and fragile communities across Scotland.
The online portal will close to new applications at 2pm on Tuesday 28th June.
To apply, please register on the Communities Funding Portal.
Alternatively, for further information (including application guidance), please visit Scottish Government’s dedicated ICF page, or the news announcement.
