Next week (24-30 April) marks Global Intergenerational Week!
This worldwide campaign encourages everyone to embrace intergenerational practice and relationships. Whether you’re an individual, or part of a group/organisation, Global Intergenerational Week has something for everyone.
Each day of the week of the campaign is a different theme:
- April 24: Let’s Raise Intergenerational Awareness
- April 25: Let’s Build Intergenerational Partnerships
- April 26: Let’s Combat Loneliness and Social Isolation
- April 27: Let’s Celebrate Intergenerational Spaces and Communities
- April 28: Let’s Break Down Age Barriers
- April 29: EU day – Solidarity between Generations
- April 30: Let’s Build Intergenerational Workplaces
In line with these themes, there are a series of events happening throughout the week which all are welcome to take part in. Some examples include:
- Informational Webinars on everything from Grant Makers to Generational Misunderstandings and beyond;
- Virtual Q&A session with filmmaker, Sky Bergman
- Intergenerational Learning Roadshows in Dundee and Ayrshire.
All events are free and open to all, however for the in-person roadshows, Generations Working Together request that you please book as spaces are limited.
