Public Health Scotland has published a report on why and how taking a human rights based approach to planning the response to, and recovery from, the COVID-19 pandemic can help support the most marginalised and excluded in communities, and help prevent further increases in inequality in Scotland.
The report is published on behalf of a multi-agency, cross-sector group which includes Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS) and the Health and Social Care ALLIANCE Scotland (the ALLIANCE).
Public Health Scotland has also released a statement on the report, which includes a quote from the Chief Executive of VHS.
