Impact Arts’ “Impactful Parents” creative employability programme offers tailored support to unemployed and underemployed parents across the area. The programme is designed to help parents who are experiencing barriers to employment build confidence, develop new skills and move towards positive destinations such as further training, education or work. Participants will also receive one-to-one support tailored to each individual’s future employment goals.
Based at Westfield Park Community Centre (Westfield Street, Falkirk, FK2 9DX), Impact Arts’ delivery team will provide a supportive and welcoming environment, with a dedicated Wellbeing and Opportunities Worker offering personalised pastoral support. A Creative Lead tutor will introduce participants to new artistic techniques and support them to create artwork using a range of artforms.
The sessions will run throughout March on Mondays and Fridays over three weeks from 9:30am–12:30pm (dates include 9, 13, 16, 20, 23 and 27 March 2026). Free refreshments will be provided during each session, and travel expenses will be reimbursed to ensure accessibility.
