Hearing Dogs have organised The Great British Dog Walk on Saturday 23rd March at the Kelpies, Helix Park, Falkirk, FK2 7ZT, a sponsored dog walk in order to raise funds to support their work with D/deaf people.
Those looking to take part can set up their sponsor page via the JustGiving site.
Registration is at 10am, with the walk beginning at 11am from the Great Lawn, where there will also be an event village. Tickets cost £10 for adults online via the Eventbrite page, and £12 on the day. Children’s entry is free, and parking is available at both the Kelpies and in the Helix Park.
There will be two different routes on the day, with the 3km Family Route being more suitable for those with pushchairs, wheelchairs and small children, and the 7.5lm Scenic Route featuring a more varied terrain.
Attendees will receive a free dog bandana for every adult ticket purchased, and will be able to meet hearing dogs and learn more about the work of Hearing Dogs as an organisation.
Tea and cake will also be available for an additional fee.
Sponsored walkers who raise more than £50 will receive a special Great British Dog Walk certificate from Hearing Dogs in thanks.
