Smaller charities across Scotland are being offered the chance to build their skills in preparing compliant annual accounts through a free online webinar delivered by OSCR’s accounting specialists. The session is designed specifically for charities with limited resources or minimal accounting experience, providing guidance that is both practical and easy to apply.
Taking place on Tuesday 3 March 2026, from 1pm-2pm, the webinar will explain the key elements that should feature in your charity accounts. To support understanding, OSCR’s experts will share examples tailored to the needs of smaller organisations – helping attendees understand common pitfalls, the most important reporting requirements, and how to present financial information clearly and accurately.
The session will also focus on the upcoming changes to how accounts are published on the Scottish Charity Register. As these updates are expected to influence how charities prepare and submit their annual reports, this webinar offers an early opportunity to understand what the changes will mean in practice.
To attend the session, please complete the Registration Form (linked for your convenience). Through this, participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance to ensure the Q&A section addresses the most common and pressing queries raised by smaller charities.
