The Scottish Recovery Network are launching a new resource to help groups, organisations and services offer community-based peer support as part of suicide prevention activities. The new Creating Hope with Peer Support resource is now available to order, and the SRN will be delivering a calendar of activities across 2024/25.
Peer support has a significant role to play in suicide prevention. Collaborating with local and national partners, Creating Hope with Peer Support is helping develop peer support groups across Scotland. They’ve been working alongside a range of groups and organisations already delivering peer support to co-design and pilot this resource. Now available to everyone, this practical and adaptable resource will help to train those offering peer support to people affected by suicide.
To order this invaluable resource, please fill out the request form found on the Scottish Recovery Network website.
