Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation has announced the launch of Game Energy, its new community hub collaboration between the Scottish Professional Football League Trust (SPFL Trust) and Scottish Gas Network (SGN).
The hub is Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation’s largest project to date, and is open every Monday and Friday, 12pm – 2pm within the Age Concern Hall, Main Street, Larbert, FK5 4BL. The hub will focus primarily on:
- increasing awareness and knowledge of energy efficiency, fuel poverty and carbon monoxide (CO) safety
- mobilising community engagement and direct support through our community hub
- facilitating the Priority Service Register (PSR) sign-ups and referrals
To support the Game Energy project, and develop it to be an information hub, Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation has enlisted the support of a variety of charities, groups and services to periodically visit the hub, so visitors can receive a variety of information, and also receive health checks and advice on their physical, social and mental health wellbeing. These will include the Wise Group, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire Service, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, Sensory Centre, Walking Scotland, NHS Forth Valley, and many more.
Open to all, free hot food will also be available to ensure that it is a warm and inviting space.
