The Freedom of Mind Choir is holding an Open Afternoon on Sunday 2nd June, 2pm – 4pm at the Tamfourhill Community Hall, Cumbrae Drive, Tamfourhill, FK1 4AH, and everyone is welcome.
The choir began as part of Falkirk District Association for Mental Health’s (FDAMH) therapeutic arts programme, and launched as an independent, non-audition community choir for people living in or near Falkirk (supported by National Lottery funding through Creative Scotland). The choir meets each Wednesday, 2:30pm – 4:30pm at the Tamfourhill Community Hall, with a scaled “pay what you can afford” cost, starting from £2 per week.
The open afternoon will include opportunities for interested potential members to ask questions, meet choir members, and hear the choir perform, and for members of the local community to join in a community sing-a-long, should they wish.
For further information, including how to join the choir, please visit the choir’s Facebook page, or contact Emily Simpson by email: freedomofmindcc@gmail.com
