The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) Scotland, and their Growing Together volunteers, have organised a free Family Science Day event for British Science Week 2024, looking at the science helping greenspaces thrive, from back gardens to local woodlands.
The Family Science Day takes place on Saturday 16th March, 10am – 1pm, at the Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre, Wood Street, Grangemouth, FK3 8LH, and will feature various interactive activities in and around TCV’s garden space. As all activities will be outdoors, suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn. All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in any activities.
The event will also include a range of drop-in activities, and activities where booking is essential (including pond dipping).
