Part of Forth Valley’s programme of events for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre will be holding its Winter Open Day on Tuesday 2 December 2025, 1pm – 4pm at the Centre, 22 Millar Place, Stirling, FK8 1XD.
About 16 Days of Activism:
“Everyone deserves to live free from fear, harm, and control. Gender Based Violence has no place here. The 16 Days of Activism link two powerful dates: the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November) and Human Rights Day (10 December). Reminding us that living free from violence is not a privilege — it’s a human right.”
The national theme, “All Together to Prevent and End Violence Against Women and Girls,” emphasises collective action and cross-sector collaboration. The 2025 National Toolkit for 16 Days of Activism is now available on the Improvement Service website, providing template communications, logos, infographics, animations, and webinar registration links.
Forth Valley’s 2025 programme features a series of events designed to unite workers and communities to raise awareness, inspire change, and stand together against gender-based violence.
The Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre provides free and confidential information, advocacy and support to anyone aged 13 years old and over in Forth Valley, who has been affected by any form of sexual violence.
The open day will feature an art exhibition and raffle, along with a buffet and refreshments (including cake), and the opportunity to learn more about Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre’s services.
