The Forth Valley Climate Action Hub, delivered through FEL Scotland, connects communities and supports their responses to the climate emergency, including by providing small grants for community-led climate action across the region. The current funds are:
- First Steps and Next Steps Grants for Climate Action
- Women’s Climate Leadership Training Fund
- Climate Leadership Programme
These funds are available thanks to the Scottish International Environment Centre (SIEC); its investment in the Forth Valley Climate Action Hub has made this additional round of grants in 2024 possible.
The deadline for all applications to these funds is 9am on Monday 9th December 2024.
- First Steps and Next Steps grants for Climate Action
Following 2 previous rounds of seed grants, FEL Scotland is offering an additional round of grants for 2024. Two levels of grant are available: Up to £1,500 to help communities make their first steps on climate actions, and £3,000 to support communities, already making changes, to take their projects to the next steps. In both cases the fund aims to support communities to address climate change at a local level and develop community–led climate actions.
- Women’s Climate Leadership Training Fund
The new Women’s Climate Leadership Training Fund offers up to £1,500 for training, learning or development opportunities that applicants have identified and believe would help them better lead their community’s response to climate change.
- Climate Leadership Programme
The new Climate Leadership Training Programme offers a series of training days and expert input, geared towards helping participants better lead their community’s response to climate change.
