Forth Environment Link (FEL) are offering free “Festive Foodie” workshops for community groups and organisations to attend online, via Zoom, at times and dates that suit.
The workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed, and informative, providing participants with the opportunity to learn new recipes and tips on how to reduce food waste, and find out more about the benefits of local and seasonal shopping. They aim to demonstrate how to create cost-effective meals which are also healthy and nutritious.
Past sessions have included cooking with yoghurt dough, jam making, cooking on a budget, and batch-cooking. Those who can’t cook along at the same time as the session are welcome to watch the sessions and then cook the recipes later if they wish.
The sessions can be one-off, or tailor-made to fit your group or organisation’s needs; with either option, participants should leave the session(s) with new ideas they can continue to use at home.
To arrange a session(s) for your organization or group, or for further information, please contact Julie Ryan by email: julie@forthenvironmentlink.org
