Falkirk’s Third Sector Employability Summit 2024 will take place on Tuesday 27 August 2024 in-person at Westfield Park Community Centre (Westfield Street, Falkirk, FK2 9DX) from 9:30am-12:30pm.
This event is for third sector groups and organisations who are employers, employability service providers or community-based employability supporters and enablers – or who are interested in learning more about the third sector’s contribution to the employability agenda. It is free to attend however booking is essential.
During the session, we will be joined by Pegs Bailey, National Third Sector Employability Partnership Manager, to share insights from her work across Scotland; Jennifer Keenan, Enable Works Employability Coordinator, who will take us through some of the key elements of supporting people to thrive in the workplace; and will close the session with Zareen Iqbal, Health Improvement Officer, highlighting some health and wellbeing resources available to help us take care of ourselves as third sector employees. There will also be an opportunity to feed in to the review of the relevant section of the Falkirk Plan, and to plan together a promotional activity for Employability Day 2024 (13 September 2024) highlighting third sector employees and current local vacancies.
Our session will finish up at 12pm for a light networking lunch.
